Its me!! Still desperately searching for someway to bring peace to all these contested adoptions. I was on one website for free legal advice, and someone pointed me to this wonderful website. Now, maybe you guys already know of this one, but I didn't and figured I would point the information to everyone. It each states statutes. Go to childwelfare site then to an advanced search -then state statutes search. Still hanging in there..still no news. But enjoying everyday with our angel!! Anything I find out I will gladly forward to everyone of you. :wings:

Thanks StacyKelly!
I went in and took a look and may try to contact some people.
I know we are trying sooooo hard to do SOMETHING - and the wait feels unbearable. Any ideas at all are appreciated on how we can resolve serious adoption problems.
I am like you - I look all the time trying to find the best thing to do.
And, like you, I so want all of this to end so we can live in peace.
Thanks again!

I am not sure what states each of you are from. But this website give each state statue which might be helpful with some judgement in your cases. I printed off all the information and will use this one to show my attorney and to have something showing the state laws. Let me know if this information helps anyone.
Thankyou Stacykelly:clap:
I have printed off alot of information from this sight. At least now I can see if NC and OH are making up their own laws as this case goes on.With some of the comments the judge made the last time we were there he acted like he had no idea what to do.So instead of doing what is right he SAID he would send the case to NC.We still have not received any court orders stating that,so we sit and wait.Just reading the statute for jurisdiction I can see NC has went beyond that and the judge down there has made her own laws and OH has ignored theirs. The best interest of the child statute's are very interesting to and both states are ignoring their own laws there to.
Excellent sight and I thank you for sharing it.
When everything seems to be going against you SMILE:) and your CHILD will SMILE:) BACK!!
GOD BLESS

Thank you ktnane. I have actually been in contact with them - but it has been over a year ago so I will try again.
Thank you for the website. At least when I am looking for some answers, I feel as though I am doing something besides sitting here and worrying.

Just wanted to let you know daddysangel that the laws have not been followed here either. And most amazingly it doesn't seem to surprise any of our lawyers nor the officials I have contacted: Attorney General, Governor's Office, State Bar, State Treasury, etc. Seems everyone thinks this is "normal" and judges can do what they want within or without the boundaries of the law.
Our FIRST statute states the best interest of the child needs to come first - and no one has ever even aked me how he doing - or allowed my child experts to testify as to how he is doing.
I don't believe in the laws anymore - they seem to mean nothing.
