Searching for birth mother Summer 1981, NY

After reading many posts about ammended birth certificates providing false information I figured I would give this a try. My birth certificate claims I was born at NYU Medical center June 20, 1981. The same birth cert. number corresponds to the unammended cert that says your name is Nancy Mc Gowen. Well after much searching that name, I can't find a thing. So hear goes: white haired baby with blue eyes born sometime before or on June 20, 1981 in the state of NY. Mother with some sort of Catholic affiliation. Possibly named Nancy and on my birth certificate called me Nancy Paula. But this could be untrue. Probably a rather tall woman with blue eyes, medium brown hair, and a fair complexion.
