You may have noticed the new additions to the every post on the forums. Those icons are called Social NetworkingӔ icons it allows members to click the icon and recommend your post for discussion in other sites. What happens is the icon is clicked, the recommendation is made and then those interested in the topic within the social networking community then come back her to discuss the topc.
This is a great way to get others involved in the community as well as a great way to find others who are interested in adoption but may not know about us
I hope you enjoy this and the many other features that we will be adding over the next few days.
(I can֒t wait to show you the BIG project Ive been working on҅its a HUGE improvement on the profile!)

Did Brandy just confuse you? ;)Personally, I use del.icio.us (the second icon; blue, white, gray, black box) for two reasons: social networking AND take-along-bookmarks. Say what? You can log into your account on del.icio.us anywhere and access all the pages/bookmarks that you have saved so that you're not at your SIL's house going, "Well, we had a discussion on the forums and I saved the bookmark on my computer but that's in Kansas and we're not in Kansas anymore."When you save a page to one of these, like del.icio.us, you can add tags (adoption, foster care, birthparents, open adoption, contested adoption, my kids are aliens) so that other people interested in the SAME topics can search for "my kids are aliens" and come to your link.Anyway, that's the brief rundown.

OK, I realize that Jenna just explained it, and I'm sure she did a good job, but she may as well havhe been speaking in a foreign tongue. I don't even know what question to ask, as I don't even understand the topic.. I think I'll just click on the icons and see what happens. Worst case scenario I have to reboot my computer  . I am a technology ignoramus!
