For those of you with babies that ran fever after the vaccination...how long did it last?
My son has had a low grade fever for 2 days since the 12 month Vaccination on Friday afternoon.
Is this normal?

My boys never had reactions, but my nephew was sick for a week following every vaccination. I even told SIL that I gave the boys a dose of Tylenol before I knew they were going to get shots...she tried it and he still got sick. I think every child reacts differently.

WE only had it happen one time, but we only had to give one or 2 doses of Tylenol before it went away.
I give 1 dose before we go to get shots. T hen, I continue to give at least 2 doses afterwards (more for pain control). I HATE SHOTS! It tears me up when baby A has to get them. I am so not looking forward to the 12 month ones next month! I take a day off work so I can just hold him all day long when he gets them.....

You don't necessarily have to get him all of the shots at once, or at all. A lot of peds are recommending one shot at a time, instead of the barrage that babies currently receive. Just a thought, not a condemnation of vaccines or anything, promise.
