Re-homing may come back

I am watching last nights "Criminal minds", it's got rehoming in it. Story line: (don't read if you like the show and having seen it yet) Mom leaves daughter with a cousin while she goes on a trip, turns out cousin is nuts and wants mom to suffer (cousin lived with mom as a kid and claims moms dad molested her) So cousin takes the kid and finds a family online on a re-homing site and they take her. Might be a pretty intense conversation coming from this, as we have several members who have been involved in (legal) re homing and others who think all cases are just lazy parents. It got pretty intense last time.
