Update to the below thread I posted in early 2013... From 23andMe, I have since found out my birth father was Robert James Stevenson and that I have a half-sister from his marriage prior to dating my birth mother. I am still searching for my birth mother and other siblings. My birth father is deceased.Reposted 2013: I was born in Syracuse, NY 11/29/69 and adopted through the Family Court, Onondaga County Department of Social Services in January 1970. From non-identifying info I have been able to obtain, my birth mom was 27 and my birth dad was 28(?) when they had me. They were not married at the time, but apparently did intend to marry some day. I was the first born. My birth mom was a secretary and my birth dad was a mechanic. Am trying to find out additional info on how to further search, to see if I have brothers/sisters, or half brothers/sisters. Any info on how else to search would be appreciated.
