I was born 3 weeks premature on November 30 1967 my name before I was adopted was possibly Scott. I was adopted through the Lake Bluff Childrens home. My birth mother was 19 and my birth father was 21.

Thanks a lot, I hope you can find your husbands birthparents. I have just received my none identifying information from childserv (formally Lake Bluff) which was very interesting. I have registered with IARMIE and am waiting to hear back from them before proceeding with getting a CI.

I don't know what Iarmie is or a ci but i am guessing ci is a case investigator. anyway. i just started and am a little apprehensive. i am afraid that his mother could be gone already. we recvd the non identifying info about a year ago. it was eye opening and weird. i hope you saw things about yourself in the characteristics of your natural parents and i hope you had a good family.

IARMIE is the Illinois Adoption Registry and Medical Information Exchange program. You can register with them and submit your identifying information, if a birth relative has also registered they will give you their information.
