Well, I wrote the amom a letter. I told her I wanted to extend an olive branch to her. I told her I could not apologize for contesting her adoption of my child, but I tried to explain why I did what I did. I explained that it was my parents' wish to have them parent my son - not mine. I also explained that I am only laying that out as foundation for establishing a relationship. (I am already biologically related to these people.) I explained that I felt sad that my grandma's only living relative is surrounded in this sea of turmoil. I told her I was glad she was able to later give birth and wished well for her. I told her a little about my life now and my husband and children. I told her I am optimistic that I hear from her. Did I miss anything????
Oh - this letter I do plan on sending return receipt.
Thanks:thanks:
Just trying to keep the high road!
