Anyone adopted a Bahamian child?

Greetings! My husband (Bahamian) and I (American) are just beginning to weigh our options for having our first child. If we choose to adopt, we would love to adopt a Bahamian child, but it seems there are few resourses available specific to adopting a child from the Bahamas. Please share your experience.. we'd love to hear from you! Do you have a connection to the Bahamas other than through your child? We'd be happy to answer any questions you may have for us also!
