What is your states age requirement to adopt?

I don't think Indiana has a specific age limit for the state system, but you must be able to show that you should be able to provide care for the child well into the future--they want to make sure you are youthful and in good health so that the child will not have to go through any unnecessary transitions and grief from the adoptive parent dying.

The only restriction I am aware of in WA is that you have to be over 21.
