DPline...I've never been to Jungle Java...would the mommies have a chance to talk there or would we have to be chasing our 3 year olds around??? I'm trying to think of somewhere we could meet and actually get to talk, too...but it might me we have to do a mom's night out to get to know each other better!!!! I'm always up for going out!!!
Hi! We're in Ferndale! I haven't been on the Michigan Families site in a little while, but they usually plan a spring outting to the zoo. It was great last year, so I'd vote for something different. I love the zoo in the winter (it's quiet and all the animals are active), but there aren't a lot of indoor places for groups to gather and chat.

I am a birthmom in an open adoption. My "little one" is 22! I also am raising a 14 year old girl and an 11 year old boy. My daughter is an amazing babysitter, maybe I could talk her in to service at the zoo playground. You can never have too many hands and eyes.
The zoo playground, by the way, is very cool.
