Hi! My husband and I are just starting the process of becoming licensed -- thinking of adopting or fostering to adopt here in Illinois. We have three bio kids but think we could provide a good home for one or more additional kids. Does anyone have any good info on getting started? Things to watch out for? we are in the middle of the aurora and the rockford area...the extreme rural area! Lee County. We foster with a private agency. It's been a difficult but rewarding experience.
