I had an unplanned pregnancy and was forced to give my daughter up for adoption. I did not want to but I had no choice. It helped a lot to have open-adoption and to pick the family I wanted her to b with. The father grew up with an adoptive brother and the mother worked as a nurse in the maternity ward in the hospital. So I knew they had an understanding of what I was going thru.That was the best decision I have ever made. They let me have visits with my daughter a lot, invite me to b-day parties and Christmas,we talk very frequently and exchange pics because they want me in my daughter's life and I am very grateful for that.It makes me feel good that I picked such a great family for her and they are so great to my feelings and needs also. I don;t think I would have been able to go on if I was not part of her life. I have truley been blessed for this chance.
