Hello, I have never done this before, but my name is Amber and this is a complete shot in the dark. I am the daughter of a man named John Odom Jr who had a daughter named Dorothy Ann with a woman named Betty Rudolph. Dorothy Ann was also born at MCV and would be in her 40s. Every thing my father has told me is hard to believe because for most of his life he has been a dreadful alcoholic, but my father has told me that he was in Dorothy Ann's life until she was 3 and then she and Betty took off. The last time (not sure when that was though) my father had heard about Betty she had been working at a club in Richmond, Virginia and had passed away. In all the years we have looked for Dorothy Ann as Dorothy Ann Odom and Dorothy Ann Rudolph nothing has ever showed up. This is the very first time I have googled anything that has brought back a response, which I googled "Dorothy Ann born at MVC Hospital". I do hope it is you, and that this reaches you soon. I have wondered for years about my long lost half sister!

That's an old, old post, from 2001, that you've responded.
I hope you get a response!
If not, you might be able to get further with your search if you check out ancestry.com and search under the names you have, plus an approximate birthdate - if you know what state(s) she lived in, that could help. Unfortunately, Rudolph is a fairly common name.
I wish you luck.
