OK, so this is a really silly question, and yet I ask it because I'm so indecisive.
When does a baby book end?

When the child is 12 months old?

At the child's first birthday party?

When the child is 18 months old?

When the child is walking?

When the book will no longer hold more pages?
I'm one of those people who takes 1000s of pictures, and I've gotten them narrowed down and all... I'm just wondering, should I end the book at Jack's first birthday party? Or should I extend it longer? When does the Baby Book end and the Rest of His Life Book start? My intention is to make a series of books for him, so he'll have just his scrapbooks, and to also scrapbook each calendar year the way I've been doing. (Of course, I'm consistently 2 years behind -- welcome to 2005!)
I just need some opinions to make a concrete choice.
Thanks!

My sister in laws are big into scrapbooking and have found that the best way to organize thier childrens pictures and milestones is to just organize by each year, one year from birth to birthday, then a next to the next birthday, etc.

hmmm, I thought the baby book ended when the parent got too busy to remember to fill things in anymore!
My mom kept two with me, an only child. On ended at 18 years and the other is still going, I will be 40 in March! It is called "All Through My Life" and includes things like high school graduation, dating years, wedding, honeymoon, my children, my grandchildren, anniversaries, etc.
I have the same for my three kids but am not as good at writing in them as my mom is! LOL
