Searching for foster parents from the late 70's to early 80's. Believed to be living in a Spanish neighborhood in South East L.A. or South Central area. Foster Parents names were Joe (or Joseph ) and possibly Elizabeth. Probably in their early 40s at the time. Last name possible Allezandro , Alejandro , Allisando , etc...something similar.
A boy of spanish or asian descent was also living there at the time. Approximately 2-4 years old...possible name of Matthew or Mathew, but not 100% certain. He too was a foster child.
Adoption arrangements made through L.A. county services. It has been told to me that my foster parents housed countless children over the course of many years.
I am caucasian and was officially adopted in 1981 but placed in 1982.
Any info. please contact. Thanks.
~Melanie
Did you try contacting the County DSS and see if they have any information pertaining to your placement?

Yes I have. I don't exist according to them with my birth certificate information despite the fact they were state fosters and I was with them over the one year mark.
They suggested I contact my attorney and/or a PI and sent me a release form for bio. parents contact instead. They basically aren't very helpful. A second contact yielded similar results with a claim that since I simply don't exist according to them, I cannot be helped by them.
Thanks though.

Have you thought about asking the:
County of Los Angeles Juvenile Court: Kenyon Juvenile Justice Center
7625 S Central Ave
Los Angeles, CA 90001-2952
(323) 586-6060
Superior Court of California - County of Los Angeles
for information on you? They might have the court records since there were foster parents and an adoption involved. If you send them a letter, please be enclose a copy of your photo ID and all relavant information.
The case file would be huge. So be sure to ask them for specific things.
Good Luck!!!
You might find it easier to talking with the Juv. Court a lot easier.

Thanks for the tip ...will look into it. I worry they'd be getting up there in age by now and time could very well be an issue because of that.
Thanks again.
