Today is the first day of spring and it's a beautiful one here. The sun in shining, the birds are singing and the snow is melting. My mood is being lifted as we speak. I know for me the winter, lack of sunlight and the snow makes me more depressed. I certainly can feel my mood lift when spring arrives. :)
Sun shining today that I got a red nose because I had my sunroof open and they are talking upper 60's all weekend and 74 on Monday.
Ahhh............... New England.

I am proud to report that the snow is going and I haven't heard any reports that it will return anytime soon!!!! Capri's today? I think so.
Yay capri's!!!!!
Unfortunately I get my convertible back on the day it turns 50 and rainy :(
But it is nice to know the snow days are less and less and the 80's are coming!!

still in the 60s and 70s for me...and while my convertible works, it keeps raining here and there...i should have sent mine over to you brown!!!
I got mine back :) I'm supposed to "drive it" to have the computer reset itself so the car can pass inspection, well um OK if I HAVE to drive it, LOL
They say it's going to rain this PM but now it's nice and sunny and 55 at 9AM so I'd better get cracking!!!!
We had storms and flash floods in my area yesterday. Fortunately I live on a hill. I have 9 windows in my living room with a hammock- yes a hammock- in a little nook. I love lying in my hammock and watching the spring storms. I can see in 3 directions from there. There was a tornado in a town to the south. The little town closest to me had to block off downtown-which is only about 3-4 blocks- due to flooding in the streets but it's okay today. Another town farther north got 8 inches of rain in a very short time and a lot people had to be rescued from their cars.

Be safe Patty. Lots of scary weather this time of year.
It rained tonight and when I left work the air smelled so great.
mmm, i miss delicious smelling rain, and delicious smelling muggy summers...we get ocean smells at the beach of course, but it's not the same.
my favorite smell is in indiana after a hot rain during the summer....
I had fog rolling down the river last night when I got home. It is the best sight to see at 1 in the morning when I get home from work.
It is just awful here, rain and thunderstorms. And I'm headed out of town to NC for the weekend, and, go figure, it's the same down there too :(
Plus the airlines are delayed 2 hours. Will need drinks STAT on landing!!!
