Ugh, Urban Outfitters mass produced a tshirt that says:
"Adoption is the New Black". I understand the whole pop culture thing with all the celebs adopting, but EVERYTHING is NOT funny. I think several adoptive families complained and now the shirt is no longer available. What about the families who adopt and are legit? It sends such a poor message. Shoot, I was adopted in 75 before it was "hot".
They also had a "Rehab is the new Black" tshirt which I found to be just as offensive.
