I have currently begun cleaning out our CD collection to put away some of our young baby CD's and add some more music to their growing catalogue.
What are your favorite CD's? Artists? Songs?
Here are some of ours right now:
They Might be Giants - No & Here Come the ABC's
The Backyardigans - The Backyardigans and Groove to the Music
Jazz for Kids - Sing, Clap, Wiggle and Shake
For the Kids - Various Artist (The entire album is just great)
H likes Jazz for Kids also.
We like the Joe Scruggs CDs, all of the Pottery Barn Kids compilations---Let's Sing, Let's Dance & Playdate!, and Boynton's Philadelphia Chickens (hilarious)
He also likes the music from his Kindermusic class (which I could live without, frankly), Louis Prima's Greatest Hits, and Steve Tyrell singing Disney songs.

Since birth, our son has LOOOOOOOVED the Baby Einstein CDs. I could not live without them in the car or in the house. His very favorites are:
Lullaby Classics
Wake Up and Good Night (these first two are also mine)
Baby Mozart
PLaytime Music Box.
At nighttime, naptime, we also have a CD I picked up at a resale shop that has lullabies and womb sounds. Another lifesaver!
We have a Little People CD about some Animal Songs, and although I cannot take much of it, I do like the sound about Chicken - lay me an egg (it sings: Chick Chick Chick Chick CHicken, lay a little egg for me......)
And the Weem a Wop song (The Lion SLeeps Tonight)
We need to widen our listening library, when it comes to kid music....
