To All Searchers:
Something that has been running through my head lately
as I get different emails on different states either
discussing changing their adoption record laws or have
passed laws.
To me this isn't sufficient at all. I was thinking of
getting adoptees and biological parents in search of
their children to take part in a massive rally here in
Washington DC (I live just outside DC).
I believe strongly that if we have a mass rally in DC
that instead of waiting for each state to decide to
take up this cause we could be waiting forever for
every state to get on the bandwagon and change the
laws to treat us with the same rights as those that
were blessed to be raised by their biological parents.
I would love to get your feed back would you take part
in this if we can pull it together.
I have contacts with some socail services agency's and
I would love to get not only socail serives involved,
and case workers but politicians as well as
celebrity's if possible.
I think it is time to take this right to DC and
finally make a voice for us and make our voice heard
by the masses. I know if we can get this together we
can get the media there to cover it.
Keep in mind I know that this is not a Federal Government issue. However I believe that since our State Elected Senators and State reps in the House of Reps. are located here in DC if we take this to U. S. Capitol building we will get the attention of our state elected officials as a group rather than individually.
Let me know your thoughts.
Thanks
Cathlyn
