We're driving down to my hometown tomorrow. My aunt and uncle from Arkansas are coming up to Indiana for 2 weeks. I haven't seen my cousins in over a year because of some scheduling issues at Christmas time, and the youngest of them (11) I've never met before before since my aunt and uncle just adopted him from the Ukraine in Feb. I'm hoping it goes well, and I've volunteered to bring the watermelon. (mmmmmm...)
We're also planning to see my best friend and hopefully some of her family. Which should be lots of fun as well. They're my might-as-well-be family, and Jeff hasn't really gotten to meet them yet, so I'm hoping that we get together.
My mom usually does fireworks (or she used to at least, it's been too many years since I've been down there for the 4th), and if she doesn't Jeff has some that he bought a few years ago that I think he wants to set off.
Mainly I'm just really excited about seeing people.
