What's the latest from Rumor Queen

Its pretty quiet so far...at this point she's predicting referrals around August 6th. How far it goes is up in the air too but it looks like they will only get to 11/21...sigh...stranger things have happened though. Bit too early to tell. Guessing that next week we will hear more.

I think 11/21 would be great (as it would mean I would be next - I would be 100% sure on that if they get to 11/21). My fear is that they will only get to 11/18, as RQ has stated that one source says that they may not even get to 11/21.

I can't believe one lousy day short! Trace your more patient than I! Yes, we're definitely next, unless they start doing half days. Well on a positive note at least it will be cooler in China In Nov.

Well, I have a reason for being patient - I REALLY want to be on maternity leave around Christmas, as my brother and his family are coming from Hong Kong and my sister and niece are coming from Virginia, and it will be great to have that time off to spend with them - and a September referral seals that deal. Plus, yes - the weather will be much more tolerable in November in China! And after 20.5 months of official waiting (and 3 years since we decided to adopt in August 2004 when DH was still 28), I figure what is one more month ;)
