A REAL fun game: Make two lines of people (or more if you have more people)...four buckets, one on each end of the line for both lines. On one side fill both buckets with water, put in a big sponge (big), the person at the end of the line has to squeeze the sponge, fill it with water then hand it to the person behind them over thier heads, the person then hands it to the next and so forth until the last person has it, then squeezes it out into the bucket on the other end....then the person runs to the front of the line and fills the sponge back up and so forth. The line with the most water in thier other bucket at the end wins!! It's a blast and adults have fun too with it!!

For sack races you can use pillow cases. Also, a friend of mine did a scavenger hunt and she had a map for each child that had a different x on it. they had quarters at the end, but that can start adding up if you have a lot of kids! You could find something theme related for each kid to find, or you could have a pinata hidden and they all have to follow the clues to find it.I would probably stay away from bobbing apples unless you are going to put a lot of salt in the water to help kill the germs, but that's just me. ;)You could have an obstacle course. You could make a huge poster and have "pin the saber on ___" whatever his favorite character is. I did pin the nose on larry one time for a Veggie Tales party. Just don't forget to buy some poster puddy to use for the "pin."Have fun!
My boys have been to several parties with Star Wars themes. Some things they had...
Take your games and make them related by naming the teams as characters from the series. Example: Ewoks vs. Wookies or Druids vs. Clones etc.
You could play Star Wars music for musical chairs
Have the birthday cake table titled "Jedi Council"
An idea from a party my son went to last year...they had "Light Saber Training". They were instructed to bring their light sabers (mom had extras too from her son's collection or friends etc.) and then they blew up balloons and gave one to the kids. The object of the game was to keep the balloons off the floor using only the light saber.
I know a lot of the moms got their ideas from googling the theme and there's a ton out there!!:)

Thanks everyone for the awesome ideas, the party was a hit...I think...LOL. We had Jedi training(keep the balloon from hitting the ground using only light sabers), pin the saber on yoda, and destroy the death star(bean bag toss). Of course there was a pinata too. Anyhow, it was fun...thanks again!
