Hello everyone,
I'm new to the Vietnam board. DH and I just found out that Korea has rejected our application due to DH's health issues from the past. Even though he is completely healthy now and received a clean bill of health in writing from his doctor they have chosen to not continue further with our application. SO....our agency has reccommended going through Vietnam for our adoption. I am trying to find out as much info as possible on this country before I make an appointment with our agency.
We live on Long Island, if there is anyone out there who is or has gone though an adoption from Vietnam please let me know what your experience was. My head was in Korea for so long and I spent so much time researching the culture etc and I'd like to do the same for Vietnam. So I will be lurking around this board trying to gather info from everyone.
Thanks everyone....hope to be chatting with you soon.
Angie
We, too, started down the road to adopt from Korea and then made the switch to Vietnam when there was some uncertainty about the rule changes announced last year. If you would like to pm me with specific questions, I'll be happy to answer them.
Vietnam is an easy country to fall in love with!
