Now that Labor is over I was wondering....
Do you wear white shoes after Labor Day (excluding tennis/athletic shoes)?????
Not me...my adoptive Grandmother was a Southern Debutante and every time I see someone wearing white shoes after Labor Day and before Easter I cringe. Yes, I occassionally call people on it...especially when they are wearing Navy hose with the white shoes.

I only own white sneakers. All of my other shoes are tan or black. Even growing up, if I had white shoes they were only for summer and not after Labor Day.

I don't wear white shoes after labor day. I don't wear white pants or skirts either!

Here in :Sweden: they don't have labor day, which maybe explains some ATROCIOUS fashion decisions (I think white shoes are par for the course along with socks and sandals).
I just don't even try with DH. He's a polo shirt and jeans guy. (and yes, socks with sandals sometimes).

Yes, I wear white sandals after Labor Day, especially if it is hotter than Hades. I really don't give a rip. I also wear black to weddings and red to funerals.

I thought of yuo yesterday Roni!!! I wore white eyelet flats that are VERY cute, but I didn't even realize it was the day after Labor Day!!!
Then my sister said "!! You wore white the DAY after Labor Day?" I laughed and said "I guess I did!"
But deep down, I knew Roni would be disappointed....

I still wear my white flip flops, but I can't bring myself to wear white sandals or pumps.
White running shoes are a yes year-round, though.

I only own white tennis. I don't think I've ever worn white shoes as an adult. But, no I don't wear the white pants, shorts, skirts now either. I have them packed away.

Oh yeah...I even wear white Capri's!!!
I think in TEXAS it's a bunch of whoo haa because it is so hot down here summer doesn't really end until...oh...February? LOL

Nat - February is our winter!! That's when we get our ice storms and sometimes we get that white fluffy stuff that falls from the sky...I think they call it snow?
Summer ends in January, February is Winter and summer starts up again in March!! LOL!!

I got these AWESOME 3 inch white peep toe t strap sandals to wear for my bridal shower, and I REALLY wanted to wear them for my rehearsal dinner only because it was Labor Day Weekend and I knew it was the last time to wear them until next year!

I am a bit of a rule stickler, because my mom drilled it in my head (who had it drilled by my Italian grandmother, and so on!) White shoes before Memorial Day are ONLY acceptable on Easter Sunday, and once Labor Day is here, it is all about fall colors and clothes!
I am actually looking to pull the fall decorations out today to put the rest in storage!
