So I filed the paperwork for my husband to adopt my two sons. We don't know where the BF is and he hasn't contacted them in several years or provided any $ for support. I thought we should go the willful failure route since there would only have to be one hearing but now I'm not sure if we need to have his parental rights terminated first. We're in San Mateo county and the people at the court services are not very nice or helpful.
