How long does a foster child stay with you?

I have had 84 foster children to date. Currently I have 3. Of the 84, I have had one for a little as 12 hours and another for as long as 17 months. Like Kat said, you never know how long a child will be in your home. Since I live in a very large county, our agency lets you foster only those children in your county. I suppose that if I lived near the county line that it might be different, but I live kind of smack-dab in the middle of the county. Good luck. Welcome to the forums.
