We are in the homestudy process and have said we would be willing to adopt twins or an older sibling. We have a 2 yr old, so that kind of limits how old the sibling can be b/c we prefer to keep him the oldest. Just curious I guess to see if this comes up very often. I have it kind of in the back of my mind that it is a possibility but am not expecting it.

We too were open to twins or siblings. We were matched with twins at the very beginning of our journey 8 years ago. Little girls. But their Mother was very sick, thats why she was placing & she miscarried the twins at 6 months along. :(
With our 7 year old daughter, twice we were asked to adopt one of her siblings. In both situations it didn't work out. Their father wouldn't allow the adoptions.

Our first two children were 8 months old and a year-and-a-half when we adopted them together... so that would be an example of a sibling group that could definitely fall under your 2-year-old requirement! We eventually adopted their younger sister as well, when she was 8 months old... so I guess you could call us sibling experts, LOL!Audrey
I was placed with my son when he was two weeks old through the foster care system. He hadn't even been adopted yet when I got the call a year later for his newborn sister. I was not even looking to adopt another child but wanted to adopt a girl in the future. I said yes and they brought her the next day. Let me just say as a single person I was more than a bit scared that I couldn't handle it. But we worked it out and they are both the joy of my life. I would love another call for a sibling in a few years. (My two toddlers are a handful right now! LOL!)
I love that my two kids have each other!
