We took everyone and their prays to NC with us and GOD responded. We found out when we got there that NC courts had awarded the Bfather custody 3 yrs prior. Which neither we or the bmom was aware of. The judge granted us our motion to intervine so not we are partys to the custody hearings. She also suggested that we have mediation to settle this with no more need for laws and attorneys. GOD stepped into the room with us and the Bfather stated that he had no interest in disrupting our angels life and did not want to harm her in any way.All he wanted was to meet her and have her meet her brother.We had very constructive communication and agreed to meet him last night so as to introduce them and our little angel was fantastic through it all. I sat down next to her and asked her if she wanted to meet him and she shrugged her shoulders.I then leaned close to her and whispered to her." Honey you are coming home with us and you no longer have to fear being taken away from us". She got a huge smile and was excellant after that. So now all he asked was for us to allow him to call her and for her to beable to talk to her brother.We told him we would of never stopped that from happening in the very beginning and will not stop it now. Our attorney told us that if we can continue to work it out then we will never see her again and if he was just putting on a show then if he starts something him and his attorney know that it will be very costly for him and that we are part of the case now and that we are not going to go away. It is not truly over but what he stated in court and agreed to makes it over for us and in the chance that he wishes to start it up again it is now in our favor to win. I believe GOD touched him and I will believe he was being honest and truthful until he himself makes me believe other wise. We may not have a piece of paper that says she is adopted but we do have our angel with us with no fear of her leaving and the words of the Bfather that just wanted to meet her and wanted to make sure what type of people was raising her. Through all our prayers and the prayers from so many of you GOD has shown us that: She is where HE wanted her to be and she is going to remain with us forever. Thankyou all for the prayers and support. We will continue on the forum and keep everyone updated on our progress. GOD BLESS

For the first time in 4 yrs I am here working OT because I need to get caught up on my work.I only have 3 days this week and then it is Thanksgiving and I am going to enjoy it more then I have ever. It is still hard right now to think about not losing her but we have lived with this fear for a few years and I understand it will take alittle bit of time before it leaves us. We spent alot of the weekend sleeping.Just so exhausted and it felt good to sleep. Once we get the ruling from the courts then we will know what we do next. As it stands right now we do nothing until March 6th of 08 and all that would be is a conferance call with him and the mediator if we need to change anything in our agreement.I do not know if he will ever agree to an adoption but at this point we are not going to push it. Our attorney said that if he was putting on a show just give him the time to screw up himself and let him show the courts that he was lying.We will document everything and save some money just in case we need to go back and fight again. Him and his attorney and now NC courts know for a fact that we are not going away and know that this little girl is more important then anything. I also agree that he was after more then meeting her and he was not totally honest with some of his statements,But I believe that GOD touched his heart and if GOD did not touch his heart his attorney made sure to tell him how much he would touch his wallet if he continued this and that this may of been his way of backing down because he knew it would cost him allot of money if he did not.Whatever the reason we are now part of the case and will now be notified of anything he may try. Many things went on there other then our case and I do believe with all my heart the statement made: If you did not believe in GOD before you have to believe in HIM now. GOD BLESS YOU ALL
Good morning everyone This is the wife to daddysangel, I am SOOOOOOOOOOO thankful for everyone that stood by us during this nightmare we were going though, your strengh helped us get though this, I will never be able to say thank you enough, I will ALWAYS hold you CLOSE to my heart!!!!!!!! Our case isn't over yet but I am feeling a bit more safe, some not alot of the fear I had is gone, at least for now. We came home with our daughter and we are part of this case, thats all we were asking for, and GOD was there and was listening. I love each and everyone of you!!!! Thank you so much for being there. can't wait for the Hoildays to come this year!!! These ones will mean more then the first 9 years!!!! GOD BLESS

You have alot to be thankful for this year. Wish I could say the same we are still dealing with a BIO that has beat and sexually abused children fighting us for his 16 month old son. We have had him since he was 4 months old when his dad went to jail for the physical abuse. We are hopeful the sexual charges will be coming soon. He is 41fident he will not be convicted because there is no physical e ranted enough. Congrats and pass the prayers our way
