I know that you posted your message last year. I am in the same boat you found yourself in not to long ago. My paperwork has been in Minsk since 4/14/03 and we are waiting for our invitation to travel. How long did it take from the time your paperwork arrived in Minsk to the time you actuallly traveled? I hope that you or anybody with any info will reply. The waiting time is driving us crazy. THanks, Teresa

Our paperwork was received in Minsk on 3/6/03. We have been able to find out through an interpreter that our paperwork is at
the National Adoption Center and is approved, we are just waiting
for a court date, which she says will probably come in Sept. or Oct., because adoption court processes few adoptions during the
"summer holidays", basically June - August. Good Luck!
My husband and I are currently in the process of adopting from Belarus, and we are so very anxious and excited!! Our dossier has been sent to the Belarusian Embassy in Washington. I know we still have quite a wait, but we are so happy to be getting closer to our precious blessings! I am so very thankful for the opportunity to adopt. Please help us in being patient and to bear the wait!!
