This may be okay but it seemed...off...

It's okay..although we have no idea if he's legit or not and his post doesn't include any information of who he is, organization affiliation etc. that most people will include when they post this type of thing. We post all the time about privacy and etc., and I do hope people will be smart enough to not just say "oh, here's my info!" Please post on there asking him if he is associated with any organization or if this is an independant project. Perhaps something like "Sounds like a great project! I'm curious to know if you are doing this for a specific organization or is this just something you are doing on your own? I hope you know that a lot of people might be leery of disclosing personal information and certainly photos of themselves without knowing anything about you. It would be helpful if you could post some more information about this project to allow everyone to determine if this is something "safe" to do. I'm sure you are a nice guy, but you know the internet!"
