Look at all my replies. My sister had a baby girl on 08-28-77. Baby stayed at St.John's hospital in Sprinfield,Ill for a few days. She was adopted through Catholic Charities out of Springfield,Ill.to??? We heard she went north somewhere maybe Peoria? Her name was "Amy" and she might have brown hair blue eyes and could be a little heavy set, but not much. Baby was given a blanket that her mother made along with a letter.Again things were so hush hush in 1977...all records could have been changed. My sister is Irish Catholic and finally married the man and has a family. It would be neat to find "Amy" and I have a feeling she will look as sweet as the rest of her family.
