Does anyone know of and adoption picnics or anything like that , that are going to be happening in Florida? I"m trying to find a way to actually get to meet some kids , and their workers so we can get our homestudy out there.Our worker only looks at the kids in our area and there arent that many to begin with. Theres got to be a way to get our homestudy out to other areas of the state.

You can get copies of your own homestudy, look at the DCF website listing of available children and request information on the ones you are interested in. They will email you the caseworker's name and number, you call them, and submit your homestudy directly to them.

Cris - I was wondering the same thing. But you can look at the heart galleries online and make some requests. I know its kinda odd searching online for kids and a informal picnic would be better but you never know.
You can just google Heart Gallery. I think even this website lists some of the heart galleries in our state.
