What is your childs favorite vegetable? Do you have trouble getting them to eat veggies? How do you get them to eat their veggies? Any good tips? My oldest who is 7 now really did not like any veggies until a few years ago. He is still kind of picky but what is funny is that he enjoys broccoli(we told him that they are little trees) and spinach and green beans. These are vegetables that are not always easy to get kids to eat. Then there is my 3 year old who will only eat veggies that are green. He thinks that anything green is celery. I cooked a new recipe the other evening and it had jalapeno peppers and green peppers. I had to dig out all the peppers for him to eat.

At 16 months my little man LOVES his veggies. Ohhhh I hope it sticks!I put Tomatoes, because he eats the big ones like apples and he will eat a dozen of the grape ones in one sitting. This past summer/fall, he would crawl to my tomato box (I have a raised box that hols about 20 plants), pull up and pick his own right off the plant to eat! Sooo cute!He also LOVES squash, peas, carrots, broccili, we have not yet come across one he doesn't devour!I only have to trick the Daddy to eat the veggies! One great trick that even works on the Daddy - add butternut squash to meatsauce for pasta or lasagna. It actually makes it taste better and they never know why...
All my kids eat their veggies, even salads. :D I'm really happy about that. I have one who doesn't like green beans, but I figure out of all the veggies to choose from if he doesn't eat one that's ok. LOL Two of mine are unable to do fruit, though, and this includes tomatoes. :( Sigh. Good thing they like their veggies!

What is your childs favorite vegetable? My kids are good veggie eaters. I said brocoli, because all four eat that one really well. but other favorites are asparagas, brussel sprouts (yes!), green beans, peas.... just not cauliflower for some reason.
Do you have trouble getting them to eat veggies? Nope
How do you get them to eat their veggies? Any good tips? When E first moved in with us he would not eat vegetables, other than corn. One night we were having brocoli. He looked at it, raised one eyebrow and said "That can't be good for me". We said actually it was, but didn't push the issue. As we were nearing the end of the dinner I grabbed a piece of brocoli and said "Fee fie foe fum, I'm a giant that loves trees, yum yum" (in my deep giant voice, of course) and popped it into my mouth. Our bio son, who was 8 1/2 followed suit, along with my husband. We were all laughing and having fun, so of course E could not miss out on the fun. And he finished off every last piece of brocoli! The next day I asked him what he wanted for lunch. He said "Brocoli!"
What is your childs favorite vegetable? H likes broccoli, green beans, peas, avocados, tomatoes, and corn. Do you have trouble getting them to eat veggies? Nope. The kid scarfs broccoli down as fast as you can put it on the plate. If we go for Mexican, we have to order him his own guacamole, because he will eat ALL of it. How do you get them to eat their veggies? Any good tips? Start early! Once H got to table food stage, we just pureed whatever we'd had for dinner, so his exposure has been broad. Also, I like to "hide" veggies in things---puree spinach and make "green" mashed potatoes, put grated zucchini or carrots in muffins, puree cooked carrots and add them to his mac & cheese. He likes soup and pasta, so it's really easy to hide stuff in there.
