HOWEVER- I just heard from a friend who is also in the 'process' and she was allocated a baby from Romania last week. I don't know how they managed to get one yet, but it does provide some, albeit small, hope. Keep in touch!
My agency is being told Mid to Late June. All we can do is keep our fingers crossed and hope they will see how important it is to give the children loving homes. The unknown waiting period is the hardest part. Good Luck to all.

Guido Podesta is in Romania for talks with Romanian Parliamentarians. During his talk with the Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies Valer Dorneanu the Vice-Chairman of the European Parliament said that the report drawn by Mrs. Emma Nicholson in which a critical view is evident regarding the situation of the institutionalized children in this country would be the object of a number of alterations before reaching the final stage. Mr. Podesta also told Mr. Dorneanu that he appreciated the progress made by Romania in her efforts to join European Union, reports ROMANIAN BROADCASTING CORPORATION.
