I'm new here and have been waiting for this moment for years. My daughter whom I long to be reunited with turned eighteen last year. I haved to admit I was scared to start searching for fear of the unknown, but I pray that she has grown to love the Lord and has accepted Him as her Savior. The Lord used this experience in my life to bring me to himself and am greatful for his mercy and grace. I live in Illinois and went to South Carolina to place the baby for adoption. I used a Christian home for unwed birthmothers it was located in Florence South Carolina. As a young teenage girl i feel naive to the promises of this agency. I was told that when my daughter was eighteen I was to contact them, but so far they have not been much help in locating the adoptive parents. I do know they moved to England in 1992. since i received my last picture from them during that year. I'm hoping that someone my have known this couple . I was told that the adoptive father was in the service.
My son was born while I was at LoveLife December 22, 1990. I was told all the same lies. We were all told that someone would always have our files, and once our babies turned 18, all we had to do was contact them and they would set it up for us to meet if everyone agreed. Now, I found Mark Craddocks cell phone number. I called him once before when I was pregnant with my daughter who is 7 and needed records. He was very helpful then. This time I call, and he tells me he'll have to call me back in a few days. He never calls me back and now he ignores my calls. I was nothing less than polite and positive when I talked to him, so I know it's not anything I did. I guess he doesn't have the answer, or just won't give it up. I also know that when I was there they were doing things with medicaid and welfare that were not on the up-and-up. It makes me feel quite lied to and manipulated. It makes me fear that we won't be able to find out. Sorry to dump that, but I see so many people who are sitting around heartbroken because of these people.
