I'm about an hour east of you in Illinois. Does that count? =) We are currently working with one agency. If anyone has a reccomendation for a second agency in our area I would love a PM. (Our area meaning my area all the way into the Metro area.)

We are working with Bethany and they are AWESOME!!! We have finished our home study, are licensed and now in the networking program until there is room in their full service program.

I am in Madison County (Alton, IL) and would love to stay in touch. I am with Lutheran Child and Family Services in Belleville. I'm not very thrilled with them.

We are also in Madison County in Illinois (Troy).
Would like to adopt another child, but decided that Illinois and finding out anything about foster to adopt is almost impossible. So we put it on the backburner.

Hey, all. I am an adoptee from Madison County, IL. Born in Granite City. Grew up in Alton all my life. Adopted in Edwardsville at the court house. Now I live just over the county like in Macoupin.
Went to Eunice Smith Elementary School, Washington (6th grade; it's now Love Joy), then West Jr. High *West Middle School, then on to Alton High (freshman yr)..Mississippi Valley...then Beltine Christian School (senior year). Got married in Alton, in Riverview Park. Raised our kids in Alton for almost 20 yrs.
