Anyone stay in one of these while in Warsaw? We have such a unique situation since we are such a large group (8, including baby), so every type of lodging that we are researching is very expensive, since we need two hotel rooms, or a huge apartment. Unfortunately, the smaller apartments (that we would totally be fine with) won't allow more than 6 people to stay there, even though it's just children. Hotels are the same way. Anyway, so we are looking into other options. We are wondering about the idea of a hostel now. We've never stayed in one.

When I was growing up in Poland hostels were popular mainly with students. I don't know if that changed but I would expect crowd under 25 and no children. We are just starting the process so I don't know how critical it is to be in Warsaw. There are some small towns outside of Warsaw where you could probably find cheaper accommodations. My parent-in-law stayed for 2 weeks and were very happy with hotel Tina which is still in Warsaw but not in the center of the town Hotel TINA It was very clean, next to big supermarket and close to buses and streetcars. Ask you facilitator to call them and ask for a price or if they could accommodate you and for how much. They speak poor English over the phone but my parents-in-law were able to communicate their needs in person. I hope you find something affordable.Jola
