I'll post this on another forum as well but figured posting here couldn't hurt...
Does anyone know if NYS provides confidential intermediaries to petition the court for sealed records? I am under the assumption that they do not but just wanted to confirm.

I could be wrong, but I think that confidential intermediaries are only used as go-betweens for contact.
I don't think they are used to petition courts to unseal records. You can petition the court yourself.
