Another Newbie

Hi to all...im new here...i register so i could find out a bit more about Adoption. Im not really married yet, so i guess my chances to adopt are a bit out of chance.. Is this a thing that they really really demand or we can sometimes go through the process anyway? As we are living together as a couple for 2 years and preparing all the legal paperwork to get married soon soon.. BTW we would like to adopt from india and we are currently living in Dubai. Thanks a million
