When I was 6-7 I was adopted by my mother's husband. He turned out to be a pedophile and I would like to have my adoption annuled, for lack of a better term. I feel that an adoption is a form of contract and I feel that this person broke the contract and therefore the adoption should be null and void. I would like my original birth certificate back and my name back. Seems simple but apparently it isn't. If anyone out there has gone through this or has any suggestions I would be very grateful.

The only way to have your original information put back in place is to be adopted by your biological father.
You can, of course, do a legal name change, but that won't change the fact that your mothers husband is listed as your father on your birth certificate.
I wish there were an easy answer!
