looking for children's brother

My children have an older half brother who was given up for adoption in early 1974. His birthdate was in August 1973 and his name was Timothy Michael Bench. His mother's name was Sharon. I married Timothy's father in late 1973 and we had 3 children. My daughter said she has looked for Timmy without any success.
