What are your kiddos being for Halloween this year?
Nick mentioned wanting to be Charlie Brown for Halloween. But he's going to be Sebastian from The Little Mermaid. It's the costume my little brother wore in 92/93 that my grandmother made.
He likes it but he wasn't amused in this picture. HA!
What are you kids going as? (If you don't celebrate Halloween or dress up, please ignore. Not meant to offend!)

TJ will be Fonzie. Jeans, white t-shirt slicked back hair. He has this battery operated 4 wheeler to ride down the street. I love the costumes, but here in Houston it is too hot. Last year he was a monkey and almost passed out from the heat. Not really, but it was hot.
Aria will be Princess Nigh Night (Sleeping Beauty), however if she continues to wear the costume everyday as she has for the past seven days, the costume will have disintegrated and I will force her to wear one of her ten gillion other princess dresses (I am aware that I am evil).I will also be going as a pack mule.

Last year I bought her the Cinderella and Tinkerbell Costumes during the after Christmas sales. I got them dirt cheap banking on her wanting to wear one of them for Halloween. Well, she announced that she wants to be a RAINBOW for halloween!?!? Huh?? I told her I didn't know what that costume looked like so she explained it to me...on her head, she will wear a Rainbow hat and her body will be a cloud....
I just have to figure out how to put that together now!! I'm taking out the Cinderella costume and Tinkerbell costumes daily to see if they will peak her interest...we'll see...
My DS is 13 and wants to stay home, wear a scary mask I bought him last year and scare kids....
My 4 year old said she wanted to be a Jack-O-Lantern. Pumpkin costume is easy enough! The 3 year old is really into zoo animals, especially yaks (yes, we had them at the Alaska Zoo) but since I cannot find a yak costume, I convinced her an elephant would be really neat. She also loves elephants and is excited to be one and looks way too cute! The baby will be a ladybug complete with wings and a hat. This will be the first Halloween I don't have to worry about getting an extremely warm costume that is at least a size or two bigger so it'll fit over a snowsuit. Whatever will I do without having to treck through snowdrifts and icy sidewalks?

Well... DD wants to be get this... an inch worm. She is 4 1/2 and I just don't know how to make this happen. I'm trying to figure it out. We will most likely already have snow and they'll need to be dressed very warm so I can't just put her in a big stocking which was my initial thought. Any suggestions? This Momma would rather just have her be a fairy or butterfly but she's her own person... an inch worm. Hmmm... With DS, who's 2, I haven't decided. He loves trains and has a Thomas engineer's hat so I might search for some of those striped overalls and he can be an engineer. Or he might be a cowboy since he wears his boots with EVERYTHING. And we have all the stuff.
My wonderful MIL makes costumes for all her grandkids. This year we found a cute pattern for a monkey. So all three kids are going as monkeys (each with a different colored vest). DH will be going as "The Doctor" and I will be going as "The Mama". All characters from the little monkeys jumping on the bed story. I'm going to attempt to put bandaids on each kids' head but I don't expect those will last two long. :)

DS has an obsession with snowmen. So of course what does he want to be? He is SO excited - starts jumping up and down when we talk about it. He was a pilot the first two times - he really didn't have much of a say - LOL. This is the first year that he is really getting involved - and I am really excited about it.Love Halloween!PJ
My 6 year old girl wants to be Hannah Montana, When Miley transforms into Hannah, she puts on her flashy clothes and jewelry, long blonde wig, and rocks out! :). And for Halloween decoration I'm thinking of: black crispy treats, bag candy corn in with spiders and add stickers, Halloween-shaped sugar cookies, popcorn balls, put popcorn in clear gloves and tie it with black yarn, and various trail mixes. I've to make a list, and then break it down into what Halloween supplies I would need.
