I feel very strongly called to foster/adopt. My husband wavers. One moment, he's talking ages of children that would be a good fit, the next saying to wait until we're in a larger home. While I agree that a larger home, one that our name is on the mortgage is preferable, that could be 2 years or more down the line.
Would you please pray that we can know if fostering/adopting is indeed God's will, and discover a way to follow His plans for our family? I so want to do what He has planned for us.
Thanks to everyone that takes the time to read this and pray for our family.

Thank you so much. Its greatly appreciated.
If anyone would be willing to post or PM me and talk to me about walking this path, and share stories of how God helped you/led you down this path, I would really love to hear.

Prayed for you this morning. I really need to come check these boards more often! Sorry it's late. Update us when you can.
Its a 'sort of' update. We're going to try and find out if dh's great niece is in care. If she is, we're applying for kinship.
As I pointed out, the classes and paperwork for kinship is the same as fostering...so we'll see.

Hello,
It sounds like we are in the same situation. DH can't decide between no more kids, fostering, or international adoption. It makes my head spin. Praying for you!

I will pray tht God's will shall be known for your situation and that he opens the right doors for you. Whatever His will is, shalll be evident and I pray that you will also have peace about the situation.
