I like seeing them having fun with each other. I'm tired of the mud slinging. This was great :D

Really liked this joke by Obama - too funny!
"I was not born in a manger. I was actually born on Krypton. I was sent here by my father Jor-El to save the planet Earth... Many of you know that I got my name from my father. "Barack" is Swahili for "That one." I got my middle name from somebody who obviously didn't realize I would run for president."
I thought it was hilarious as well. Hillary was a good sport, I'd say.
I liked JM's comment about hiring Joe the plumber and Obama's about seeing the Russian tea room from the hotel.
I mentioned on another forum I'm on that I wish the election were tomorrow b/c, (aside from the obvious reason) this is how I'd like to "remember" them. Gosh that sounds morbid but I don't mean it to.
I just liked seeing them be "human" kwim?
I agree, Sadie. I'd like to remember them this way also, but politics keep on getting in the way.
If McCain had shown this side of himself, apart from the pursed lips and inability to give Obama the respect of eye contact, maybe he'd be in a different position right now.
We Americans are sick and tired of the negative side of campaigning. If the tired masses are expected to show respect and togetherness, it's the least the candidates can do, isn't it?
