Lucky you - we sent our renewal in on 10/6 and have yet to receive anything much less the fingerprint letter. Based on your information, I am getting very worried that our paperwork was lost.
Does anyone have an email or phone number to call? Last time we did it through OKC (all Dallas went thru OKC for awhile) and they had an email address. We have the package tracked and it was signed. Our agency says they must be behind and not to worry, but based on your time line above we should of had SOMETHING by now. :hissy: Ugh!

THANK YOU!!! We ended up setting an appt with an Immigration officer there but if this can avoid us having to go down there, that would be wonderful.

We just found a good email address to the Dallas Field office...
District-Adoptions.Dallas@dhs.gov We did get a bounce back on all other email addresses that were given to us, but this one has not bounced back yet. I will let you guys know if I do hear back from the field office.
You guys try it too and let us know if you get a response.
We got a confirmation that our i600 got to the field office on October 6th, all checks have been cashed, but we have not even gotten a letter for our fingerprinting.
A friend in San Antonio submitted at the same time and they already got the i600 approved. I am happy for them, and am anxious to hear back about ours. I hope it doesn't take too long.
Please keep in touch.
That is the same email address they sent in our letter, but it is now bouncing back. I found a different one that we just tried today and have not gotten a bounce back on it yet. Your post have been encouraging! Is there anyone you communicated with personally?

We got confirmation on our form just a couple of days after you guys submitted your forms. We have not gotten any word, no fingerprint appointments and are getting anxious... any advice on what we can do to check up on what may be holding our fingerprinting / approval up?
Thanks.
P.S. We are adopting four children from Nigeria.... We could use any discount on air travel we can get!:airplane:
Ok, we are adopting a four children from Nigeria.
12 yr old male
10 yr old male
5 yr old male
3 yr old female
Our home study approved us for four children. We originally were only going to adopt three, but being approved for FOUR weighed heavy on our hearts so we chose to adopt a fourth child.
The country we are adopting from would only process three adoptions and will not follow through with the fourth until the the other three children are in the US.
Here is my question...
We have already submitted and paid for all the nec. forms and fees for the fourth child. What can we expect to have to do as far as renewing the fourth child's i600?
Please advise.
