I did a quick search and social security death index has Deborah A Lusk dob 4-15-1952 passed away on 2-1-2007. She would have been 19 in 1971.
I will do more looking as an obituary will give lots of information about family.
ETA: ancestry.com lists about 25+ Deborah Lusks living throughout the country. So the deceased may not be the right Deborah.

Tonya, have you obtained the non-identifying info and the original birth certificate?I did a quick search and found another Deborah A. Lusk, born 21 Aug 1952, died 13 Dec 1996, SSN issued in Pennsylvania in 1967-68.The California Marriage Index also lists a marriage between Deborah A. Lusk (born about 1952) and Franklin P. Davison (born about 1949) in Los Angeles on 26 Nov 1982.Susan
Hi,
I am also in WA. I joined a local yahoo search group that have search angels for WA. They are amazing, supportive and smart. They helped me find my bmom in less than 4 months. I did have my non-identifying information from the county. I had her first name and a few other clues. I can't tell from your posts if you already have that? If not, the group can help you with that too.
Here is the link if you want to join:
