This is the members first post. I am troubled by it.
First, it is on the Becoming Foster Parents forum, but has nothing to do with becoming a foster parent.
Second, I'm not sure, but my spidey sense is kicking in a bit. Something is not right here.

Ya, unfortunately that was a solicitation. She obviously needs help but she can't use our site to find parents for her child.
I did put in my ban message for her to seek help etc. and I hope she does.

when people do that...are they serious? or is it more than likely a scam? i just can not imagine someone seriously wanting to find parents for their child on a forum on the internet. am i wrong?

I wasn't 100% sure and that is why I wanted someone else to look at it. I kind of had the feeling that she was a troll.

I don't know if she was legit or not. I can only imagine though that there have to be some who do use the internet as a way to place, just as there are people who hope to find a child to adopt.
I figure there are people in most desperate situations who probably would do anything to get something resolved, kwim?
And then yes..we have our lovely trolls who think it's fun.
