The original question was does the emom get to name the child on the original birth certificate and can she choose to circumcise the baby. (Hmm, I just realized no one has mentioned female circumcision... maybe I should bring it up, after all it is common in some cultures!) Sorry, I digress!
Anyway, they are bemoaning what they can't control and I posted reminding them that until relinquishment, emom is mom! I expect to be flamed...

Yeah, I saw. You know there are certain threads that push me toward being totally anti-adoption! (I really need to stick with the mod amoms!)
