I have a question....something I struggle with in here. In fact, it sets my blood to boiling.
Why do some people - when posting on their particular situations re. bmoms - feel the need to quantify how many men she's had children by when it has no bearing on the problem?
I see this a lot...quotes like "she's had 2 kids (by two different guys)". It's as if people have simply got to go out of their way to point that out. Then you read further down the page and they're asking a question about policy on some other issue.
??? In that case, why can't you simply say "she's had two children" and leave it at that and then ask the question your need to ask?
Look at it this way. Does anyone in here state how many times they've been married before they go into detail with whatever their issue is? I'm willing to bet I'm not the only divorcee and I would point out that a lot of us have therefore had babies by more than one guy. See what I'm saying?
Also, does anyone quanitfy how many different sexual partners they've had before they go into whatever their issue is?
Because if we're going to be...oh I dunno...HONEST.... with ourselves.....chances are pretty darn good that most of us have had sex with more than one person. You know what that says about us? That we're human. It's none of my dang business how many adults some other adult has slept with. Who the frig am I?
I know this isn't going to do any good but I'm asking it anyway. Please knock it off. It's humiliating and it's a slap in the face to women in general.
If you're going to deliberately point out something like that when it has no bearing on the conversation, then you ought to have the guts to call a woman the name you're actually calling her without saying it.
Please forgive me, but some things are just beneath the pale.
Respectfully submitted,

Chocolate Balls
100 grams margarine or butter(3 1/2 oz)
1 deciliter sugar (1/3 cup)
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 tablespoons cocoa
3 deciliters oatmeal (1 cup)
1 1/2 tablespoons cold coffee
Coconut flakes to roll them in.
Soften the butter, mix everything together except the coconut, stick in the fridge for an hour or so, roll into balls and roll the balls in the coconut.
Love... I LOOOOOOOOOVEEEEEEEEEE coconut!!! The BEST coconut candies are from Antastasia Candies, and they are coconut patties. I got them in florida one year, and brought a box home and would eat one a week till they were gone. I had thought they were all gone, but then found out later that there was one more and was soooo excited! Later, I found them at Cracker Barrel and was even more excited!!!!!!!! I really should be going to my desktop and finish scanning and making the dvd for my dad's memorial service.

I can't believe I just noticed you've been talking about no-bake cookies all this time!
My grandmother taught me them when I was young, and I liked it so much, I've got the recipe memorized. My version is the exact same as the first version posted. My grandmother also used coconut in it, which I like, but not everyone does so I tend to leave it out.
Forspankingsbanken...that's hilarious!

The No Bakes that Greg made us, and makes in general, are soooooooooooooooo good. They are beyond wonderful. I am not sure what he does to make them extra-good. My mom had one on Saturday after the Memorial Service (I didn't end up seeing Emily to get them on Wednesday) and she was like, "These are SOOO much better then grandmas!!" Shhhh Don't tell Granny!!! Kathy, I've never heard them called California cookies. My other favorite is Worm cookies...which is what I named them one Christmas as a kid. I was eating one, and my dad said, "what in the world is that?" And I looked up and said, "A worm cookie!" It stuck. Anyway...they are two ritz crackers with peanut butter in the middle, completely covered with melted chocolate. Then you let them "set". They are sooooooo good too!!! I won't tell you that I just ate the last of the BEST cupcakes I ever had. *and when I say the best cupcake, you know it's good because I am NOT a cake person....
